Christmas Knitting

Happy New Year!

Here’s a little something I am very proud of.  It was completely finished (blocked with all ends woven in) and under the tree for Christmas morning.  It was a special request by my teenaged  daughter.  She wanted it a little oversized (longer length in the body and longer sleeves), and we changed the pattern placement from the original pattern.  Overall, a satisfying knit and she will get lots of wear out of it.  At is 5′ 8″, how much more can she grow?

It is a traditional Lopi sweater, modified from the pattern found in Reynolds Lopi Volume 25.  The sweater is Fønn 15.
