I found this scarf on Pinterest and fell in love.
Here’s a simple pattern. I will post photos of my version when I’m done.
Yarn: Bulky Weight
Yardage:
Needle Size: 12mm
Gauge: 8 Sts and 12 rows = 10cm (4″)
Finished size: 64 cm x 210cm (25″ x 82.5″)
Cast on 50 Sts
Work in stockinette stitch for 46cm (18″).
Split work for hole – on the RS, work 25 Sts)(leave remaining 25 stitches on the needle, turn and work 12 rows on these 25 stitches only. Finish by working a knit row (the first 25 stitches will be on your Right needle). Cut yarn leaving 15 – 20cm (6 -8″) of yarn.
With RS facing, join yarn to the first stitch on your left needle and work 12 rows on these 25 stitches, ending with the RS facing. On the next purl row, p25, join the first 25 stitches and purl across the remainder of the row.
Continue in stockinette stitch until scarf measures 210cm (82.5″).
Cast off. Weave in ends. The end.
